                           Transaction in own shares

DMGT has today transferred out of treasury 9,233 A Ordinary Non-Voting shares
(A Shares) at a price of £9.725 in order to make an award of shares to meet the
vesting of a transition award to a participant in the DMGT Long Term Incentive
Plan. The share price was that at the close of business on Thursday 2 January
2014 in accordance with the Plan Rules.

Following this transfer, the total number of A Shares held in treasury is
20,298,415 and the total number of A Shares in issue after deducting shares
held in treasury is 353,510,618.
